Though, like you, we are just beginning to learn about Sarah Palin and the full extent of the experience and abilities she brings with her to the McCain-Palin "Ticket for America," there is one thing we do know for sure ...

... she has energized our base!

Yes, the energy and enthusiasm was an incredible thing to witness as the delegates of our 2008 GOP convention welcomed this stranger into our midst with wide open mouths and arms.  And as we cheered and sang her praises, there was no doubt in the convention hall, or in the media, that she had won over our hearts, regardless of us not really knowing who she was.








And while we're still in the process of reviewing her brief (but undoubtedly brilliant) political career, we do know that she is a true patriot, a proud mother and a soon-to-be-grandmother (not long after her daughter's upcoming wedding).  Yes, parenting - like governing - is very important to Sarah Palin.
